If it is your first time to blockchain or crypto world, setting up blockchain wallet is the very first hurdle. What is blockchian wallet and how can we use it?

A blockchain wallet is a digital wallet to store and manage the private key. Your crypto is not in your wallet, it actually exists inside of blockchain.

PLAY Finance recommend to use “Metamask” wallet for beginners since it supports various browsers including Google Chrome and it also has mobile application.

Desktop/Web Browser wallets

  1. Download Metamask extension

    (Automatically detects browser)

  2. Install Metamask

  3. Create a new wallet

  4. Set up password

  5. Backup “secret seed phrases” This secret seed phrase is same as your private key. You can back up your wallet in other PCs just with this phrases. Please aware that keeping this phrase is very important since you can lose all your asset if someone get your phrases.

  6. Complete remaining process and open Metamask wallet

  7. Add “Binance Smart Chain” into your wallet After opening up your Metamask wallet, you can see “Ethereum Mainnet” text with drop down button. Click this list and select “Customer RPC” After that you can simply copy and paste the content below : - Network Name : Binance Smart Chain - New RPC URL : - Chain ID : 56 - Symbol : BNB

  8. Make sure you've typed everything in correctly and click Save. Binance Smart Chain will now be one of your network options.

Now, you can use your wallet with “Binance Smart Chain” which is used by PLAY Finance as a blockchain network.

Welcome to DeFi world and congratulation to your first step to DeFi!

You've made a wallet, now you just need to connect your wallet with PLAYFinance and you're good to go!

Check out the steps below for how to connect MetaMask wallets to PLAYFinance.

  • A window will appear asking you to choose a wallet to connect to. Click MetaMask (it's the top option on the list).

Smartphone/Mobile

To connect Trust Wallet follow the steps below. Note that Android and iOS devices do not use the same steps!

Android

  1. Open Trust Wallet and tap the DApps button on the bottom of the screen.

  1. Type "https://app.playfinance.fi" into the search field and start the search.

  2. A new page will open with the PLAYFinance logo and some information. Tap the Connect button.

  3. PLAYFinance will open up. If you see a Connect button in the top-right tap that and tap Trust Wallet from the list.

If you find you are unable to connect at step 4, go back to the DApps menu and type "https://app.playfinance.fi" again. Using "PLAY Finance" from the "History" section may result in the same problem.

iOS

To connect to PLAYFinance through iOS, Trust Wallet have prepared a detailed guide on using WallteConnect.

To connect MetaMask to PLAYFinance follow the steps below.

Android and iOS

  1. Open MetaMask and tap on the burger icon in the top-left.

  1. Tap Settings in the menu.

  1. In the Settings menu, tap on Network.

  1. Tap on the Add Network button at the bottom.

  1. On the page that opens, type in the following details:

  1. Once you've confirmed entry of the new network, go back to the burger menu and tap Browser.

  1. Type "https://app.playfinance.fi" into the search field and start the search.

  2. You wallet will ask you to connect. Tap Connect to connect to PLAYFinance.
